Synovi G3 soft chews were recommended to me by my vet when my 4 year old, 130 pound labrador mix began having joint pain and stiffness. While Synovi hasn't been a complete cure for my dog, it has certainly helped. And he loves this stuff. He prefers getting his Synovi over many of the treats that we've purchased for him over the years. He goes over to the Synovi bucket and begs for it.

I feel terrible that they will no longer produce this product, as like me, it appears from most of the reviews found here that it is a popular, and helpful product. I'm not sure what we'll use as a replacement product. I just hope we can find something that my dog likes as well, as ultimately, he's the one that has to take it, and he's the one that benefits. I know that the last company I purchased Synovi from suggested Joint Max. Looking at it's ingredients, we may give this a try. But we're hopefull that whatever forced Synovi to fail inspection is corrected and that this product will be back on the market soon. As we give it a resounding 5 stars.

I love this product. Have been using it for years for my pug. Had trouble finding it and wanted to use it on our new puppies also. Found it on Amazon and was very happy but when I received it the shelf life was only 60 days. Thank goodness I have 3 dogs that can use it otherwise it would go out of code before I finished it. Never thought about the code date when I purchased it. Would never again buy it through Amazon unless the code dates could be told at time of purchase. BUT I love the item.

Our 6 1/2 year old rescued large mixed breed dog was suffering from arthritis/joint issues due to poor nutrition when he was young. Wallace wasn't able to frolick with our other dogs, his gait looked painful, and generally he slept most of the time. We were unsure about how much time he had left before he wouldn't be able to walk at all. I found Synovi about 3 years ago through a Google search, read as many comments as I could find, and talked with our vet. After about 3 months of recommended dosage of Synovi G3, Wallace was truly a different dog. And 3 years later, he still thrives. He's able to run, albeit occasionally with a limp (but then at 60, I usually limp after jogging !) and his "attitude" is wonderful. We have put another of our dogs on Synovi as well, with the same great results. I sprinkle the "granules" form on top of their dry food and they love it. I unequivocally recommend this product because I have seen the results for myself. It has given one of our beloved pets a longer, more comfortable and happy life.

My dog ate this up with her dry food and a little water stirred up to make a gravy, for about 5 days she ate it and then she refused and would not eat it any more... I think the MSM (anti-inflammatory) may disagree with her stomach because I have given her another product in the past, a pill with glucosamine and MSM and she did the same thing. It's a shame because it did help with her getting up and down more easily and having more zip in her step, but I won't force it on her when she so obviously is repelled. I think I need to try something without MSM and wait a couple months for results instead of instant results like the MSM gives.

My dog has had one scoop a day for over three years now. At 10 he could no longer jump into the back of my car. He could barley get up off the floor. He would walk a little and then lay down. We were unsure about how much time he had left before he wouldn't be able to walk at all. I found Synovi about 3 years ago through a Google search, read as many comments as I could find, and talked with our vet. After about 3 months of recommended dosage of Synovi G3, Wallace was truly a different dog. And 3 years later, he still thrives. He's able to run, albeit occasionally with a limp (but then at 60, I usually limp after jogging !) and his "attitude" is wonderful. We have put another of our dogs on Synovi as well, with the same great results. I sprinkle the "granules" form on top of their dry food and they love it. I unequivocally recommend this product because I have seen the results for myself. It has given one of our beloved pets a longer, more comfortable and happy life.

FDA inspection Failed so the manufacturer was forced to stop production. It's not safe to feed to your pets. I ordered the same thing, just different type (tabs instead of granules) but was only informed after the sale why it was discontinued.

My dog ate this up with her dry food and a little water stirred up to make a gravy, for about 5 days she ate it and then she refused and would not eat it any more... I think the MSM (anti-inflammatory) may disagree with her stomach because I have given her another product in the past, a pill with glucosamine and MSM and she did the same thing. It's a shame because it did help with her getting up and down more easily and having more zip in her step, but I won't force it on her when she so obviously is repelled. I think I need to try something without MSM and wait a couple months for results instead of instant results like the MSM gives.

My dog has had one scoop a day for over three years now. At 10 he could no longer jump into the back of my car. He could barley get up off the floor. He would walk a little and then lay down. Now, at thirteen he jumps in the car with ease, takes walks and gets up and down smoothly. He has never minded the taste of it in his food. You have to be consistent and give it everyday and then stand back and watch the gradual change for the better.
