This supplement was suggested for my dogs by a surgeon who put my dog's hip back together after she was hit by a car. Her inevitable arthritis has been treated effectively and she was back to her normal activity level within a few months. This particular supplement contains certain nutrients that are not in similar products. I now give this to both my dogs (10 yr old 50 lb boxer mix and 3 yr old 80 lb boxer) with fanastic results. The price is totally worth it for this chew.

Great product that helps our yellow labs aging joints. It takes the initial month to build up in their system and joints, so you don't see results right away. I didn't think the product was doing any good until we ran out and noticed our lab stiffen up and not move as well. Our lab thinks the soft chews are a treat, easy to give and no mess. I noticed my 10 year old maltese limping one day and was worried she had tweaked a joint or somethin'. I did some research and found Synovi....ordered it and within days she wasn't limping and has an extra "kick" in her step. I will continue giving my girl this stuff and will also give my younger girl the chews once she becomes elderly to prevent any joint problems. :) Thanks DVM for making a great product!

This item was prescribed by our vet for our dog. We bought one 240 count tub from the vet and found we could order through Amazon.com for almost half the cost. The order was received quickly and was as described; it was the exact same item as the one from the vet. One thing to remember when ordering a similar product is that it has an expiration date. The product from our vet has a later expiration than the one we ordered.
