I was very disappointed in this product. My dog's movement did not improve at all; however, I purchased the phy-cox chews and I have noticed a huge difference. In my opinion, the joint max chews are a waste of your money, but do try the phy coxPhyCox-JS Soft Chews (60 Soft Chews). They are amazing and completely worth the money. My lab was jumping around like a puppy within a few days of this purchase!!!

I have been feeding joint support soft chews of various varities to my Greyhounds for quite some time now. Some of my hounds have refused to eat them so I crumble them up over their food. Joint MAX TS Soft Chews has been the first soft chews my hounds have eaten like a treat. The chews arrive plastic wrapped in a plastic container and they are nice and moist, easy to break apart. They stay that way as long as you keep wrapping them back the way they came. If you don't keep them wrapped up they loose their moisture and get to be like little charcoal brickettes. Fortunately they make it easy to keep them nicely wrapped. There is instruction on the side of the container specifing how many chews your dog needs in a day, it depends on size and condition of the dog.
I break mine apart and put in my hound's medication, then smoosh it back over the pill. He eats it right down and I am glad to have found an easy way to 'pill' my dog while giving him something that helps his joints. When you first start giving any joint support product it can take a few weeks or even a couple of months to see any difference in the dog's movement. Again depends on condition of the dog to begin with and what else he/she has going on. I think it helps my Greyhounds, they have that long spine and thin long leg and neck thing going on. I think it has helped their movements stay younger even when they were getting older.

We have a 5 year old Golden Retriever & we just adopted an 8 year old yellow lab (she is a retired seeing eye dog). We started giving them these because our new lab wasn't very active. And we are giving our 5 year old Golden them as a preventative. The 8 year old is like a different dog! She acts like she's a young dog again. Running & playing all the time. We can't believe the change in her from the first day we got her. Our golden has always been in great shape & very active so we feel good doing this for him to help him as he gets older. We have very cold winters so this will be a great help for them as well. Between the Joint MAX & their diet we feel great that we are doing all we can for our beloved dogs!

Since our lab is such a big dog our vet recommended we start using a product to help his joints stay healthy. After reviewing what was available on the internet and then comparing prices we decided to try Joint Max. Also, I like to shop thru Amazon.com because it's easy and safe. We have been using this suppliment for our dog for some time now and we believe that it has helped him. Also, since we have such cold winters we felt it wasn't too early (he's only 5 years old, but we wanted to help slow down or prevent joint problems.)to begin this treatment for him. We have been giving these to our dogs for some time now. And they absolutely work! We have a 13 year old Samoyed with severe arthritis and an 8 year old pit bull with hip problems. And without these chewables both dogs would barely get up from their beds. I would recommend this product.
